					<description>That is definitely true. The majority of books out there are get rich quick books. In my opinion the reason for this that is what people want to hear. They do not want to hear that rehabbing a house can take from 3-6 months of hard work. That is the truth though. If money were easy to come by and obtainable without risk everyone would have it.

Back to you original question the best book I have read on this topic is Buy It, Fix It, Sell It: Profit! by Kevin C. Myers. The book goes through every step of rehabbing a house. I think it has a lot of valuable advice. I definitely agree with most of it. 

I would also suggest downloading my Rehabbing spreadsheet at the bottom of this article. It lays it out you expenses and profit quite nicely. If you read the book you will notice some of the items on that spreadsheet are also in the book.
